When working with our consultants

Our policy consultants and advisors work as attorneys in their own private practices, but do not practice law when working for RMnet™ Solutions, Inc., a risk management consulting firm.   We will not engage in the practice of law, nor is an attorney-client relationship with its privileges created when you work with our policy consultants.  We can provide risk management advice with a depth of expertise on church and religious nonprofit risk and legal issues, help you understand federal and state laws as they affect churches and religious nonprofits, and help you identify the key state law policy areas that you may wish to review by a local attorney.

When using our Training and Resource Material

Our training is designed to equip church and nonprofit leaders to familiarize themselves with various legal, risk, and policy issues that may affect their organizations.  Please note, that legal information is not the same as legal advice (the application of law to an individual's specific circumstances).  Our trainings, and the resources you will receive when purchasing our material, are not intended to constitute legal or other professional advice.

We understand that it is extremely difficult for leaders of churches and religious nonprofits to obtain good legal advice from local attorneys, who are often unfamiliar with church governance and dynamics, church law, and the application of Christian principles to resolve conflict and disputes.  As such, we have devoted significant resources in our training and policy resource materials to help navigate the legal and risk issues applicable to churches and religious nonprofits.

However, we recommend you consult a lawyer, if you want professional assurance that our information, and your interpretation of it, is appropriate to your particular situation and the dynamics and culture of your church or nonprofit. We’d be happy to direct you to resources to obtain good legal counsel to help you to this end.
